What is it about this revered illustration that invites people from all over the world, in every walk of life, in every belief system, in every medium, to imitate its message?
I wonder if it is the inner questions we have for ourselves:
Who am I in this picture? Am I Peter? Bartholomew? Judas? Jesus?
Maybe the questions are more like:
Who do others see me as? A rock? A reliable friend? A betrayer? A savior?
More than anything, I wonder:
Is there room for me at the table?
Finally, if there is room at the table for me:
Can I, should I, make room for all these others?
