At God’s Door
A man came to God’s door and knocked.
A voice asked, “Who is there?”
The man answered, “It’s me.”
The voice said, “There isn’t room here for you and me.”
The door remained closed.
After a year of loneliness and suffering, the man returned and knocked.
A voice asked, “Who is there?”
The man said, “It is you Lord.”
The door opened to him.
“Listen! I am standing at the door, knocking; if you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to you and eat with you, and you with me.” ~ Revelation 3:20
